About the tour
ATV (quad) tour on the eastern side of Jericoacoara, with a vehicle just for your group (up to 2 people per quad). Same freedom as the buggy: you build the itinerary, decide how long to stay and choose the stops. A guide rides ahead on a motorbike and you follow along the whole way — and before setting off there's a quick lesson on how to ride the quad, so no experience is needed.
Itinerary
- Pedra Furada — optional stop. If you want to include it, it's best done early in the morning to avoid the trail in strong sun. It's about a 1 km walk and, with the stop, adds at least 1h30 to the tour — time that is redistributed (reduced) among the other stops
- Árvore da Preguiça (Sloth Tree)
- Preá Beach
- Buraco Azul and Lagun Beach beach clubs — optional: choose both, just one or none
- Lagoa do Paraíso — you choose your preferred beach bar; the guide explains what each is like and helps you decide which suits your day best
- Return to Jericoacoara
Tips & suggestions
- Bring sunscreen, water and something to protect your phone from sand and water
- Wear a swimsuit and footwear that can get wet
- Times and the order of stops may vary depending on the tide and weather
- Before setting off you get a quick riding lesson — no prior experience needed.
- A guide rides ahead on a motorbike throughout the tour; just follow along calmly.
- The itinerary is flexible: the beach club and Pedra Furada stops are optional — include them, pick just one or skip them.
- The more stops you include, the less time at each. Since the quad is just for your group, you set that balance with the guide.

Children
Price is per vehicle, for up to 2 people. Children can ride as passengers but cannot drive.
Cancellation & rain
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before, with a full refund. Within 24 hours or in case of no-show, there is no refund. If the tour cannot run because of heavy rain or safety reasons, you choose: reschedule at no cost or get your money back. Quick showers are common and usually do not cancel the tour.
Tourism fee
To enter Jericoacoara you pay the Sustainable Tourism Fee (TTS): R$41.50 per person, valid for up to 10 days. You can pay online on the city website or in person in Jijoca or at the village entrance. Paying ahead avoids queues on holidays and in high season. Exemptions set by the city (such as children up to 12, people over 60 and people with disabilities) require an ID document.
