About the tour
Tour on the western side of Jericoacoara, the region of mangroves, dunes and lagoons. Itinerary with a ferry crossing, photo stops, dune slides and swimming, ending with lunch by the lagoons.
Itinerary
- Mangue Seco — seahorse-spotting canoe ride in the mangrove (optional, R$35 per person). Since the vehicle is just for your group, if you skip it you head straight to the next stop.
- Ferry crossing — across the river to Guriú, on the other side
- Guriú — stop at Raízes do Mangue: beach huts with sea views and the famous photo swings
- Esquibunda — optional dune slide (R$20 per person): you sit on a small wooden board and slide down the dune. Between June and September the slide ends in the water; outside that period, it doesn't
- Toboágua (water slide) — optional (about R$20 per person): a slide that always ends in the water, over a special tarp, gliding down the dune on a board
- Lagoons among the dunes — lunch stop, with the famous live menu
Tips & suggestions
- Bring sunscreen, water and something to protect your phone from sand and water
