The west side is the wildest side of Jeri: mangroves, river, dunes and freshwater lagoons. The route starts at Mangue Seco, where you can take the seahorse boat ride, crosses the river by ferry to Guriú — famous for its swings facing the sea at Raízes do Mangue — and continues across the dunes.
On the dunes there are "esquibunda" sand slides and the toboágua water slide down to the lagoon, and lunch is at the lagoons with the famous live menu. The tour takes about 6 hours and can be done by shared open truck, buggy, ATV or private open truck.

Which one to choose?
- Solo or as a couple, on a budget: West Tour Shared, by open truck, R$89 per person, ferry included.
- Want your own pace and more time at the lagoons: buggy (up to 4 people) or ATV (up to 2), with a vehicle just for you.
- Family or large group: Private West Tour, for up to 11 people. From 7 people up, it costs less than the shared tour.
Best time to go
From June to September the lagoons are full and the esquibunda slide ends in the water. Outside that period it ends on the sand; the toboágua always ends in the water.
